We ride this ride oftten, 2wks ago, we turned right and went across the mountain into Erwin instead of going in Greenviille...... We ride approx. 500 miles a weekend..... sold one HD and selling other. Looking for low mileage. ....... Been wanting...

I'm trying to get some information on the area as I think I would like to retire in that part of the country. Any suggestions? I ride as much as possible and from what I've learned so far would like to live outside the city limits . What towns would you look into that area about 30-45 minutes from good riding.

There is a motel called Cool Waters in Cherokee and a great restaurant called Grandmas right across the road. That is where the rally will set up headquarters next year. I don't ride a Drifter, but they welcome me anyway, pretty cool.

We haven't been on alot of road trips yet, but plan to soon. We mostly go to Wisconsin, every year to Milwaukee's rally & up to the north woods in Tomahawk, WI for their rally in September. I was planning to take a riding course this spring, but had surgury on my foot, now all the classes are booked, maybe in the fall. Just joined this website a few months ago and just started requesting some friends. I like hearing about different places and scenic rides around the country. I've been through Tennessee but never on a bike. That's a must in the future. Well, take care & hope to hear from ya!
